Created by Medea Juhasz, a former luxury fashion industry executive and certified holistic health coach, Herbalore is inspired by both her studies of nutrition and her personal journey. Witnessing her own total health transformation put Medea on the path to formulate Catalyst Gold, an all-natural superfood supplement with a prestige appeal.

First thing first, talk us trough your personal journey. How did you get into the beauty industry and what led you to launch your wellness brand?
My brand, Herbalore, is inspired by both my studies of nutrition and my personal health journey. I pretty much subconsciously started developing Catalyst Gold about 17 years ago; it is the exact formula that helped me profoundly transform my own health. Back then I was definitely not into health or wellness. Although I had recovered from addiction issues, I couldn’t get rid of my extreme sugar and unhealthy food cravings. I had liver damage, digestive issues, slow metabolism, constant weight struggles, ulcers, a weak immune system, allergies and reoccurring sinus infections. I began studying nutrition and herbalism along, with different dietary theories, in search of curing myself through holistic medicine. I started experimenting with herbs, amino acids and superfoods. It took me several months to perfect the exact ratio, but, when I finally did, my health issues one-by-one, miraculously started to disappear.

Catalyst Gold: what are the benefits of this amazing supplement?
I call Catalyst Gold the ultimate “one stop shop” multipurpose superfood supplement. This very unique formula works with your system, figures out and gives your body whatever it needs. Catalyst Gold may provide support in boosting the body’s natural ability to cut unhealthy cravings, increase energy levels and stamina. Enhance all levels of regenerating and beautifying functions or it may help with your metabolism, digestion or just simply give you a good night’s sleep.

What are the results one can expect after trying Catalyst Gold for a month?
Most of our customers report back within a week/two weeks improved digestion, increased energy, decreased sugar cravings and just an overall feeling of wellbeing. The beautifying effects (hair, nails, skin) usually take 4-5 weeks to manifest and be noticeable.

Tell us about your ingredients: do you have any favorites to formulate with? What makes them so effective?
What makes Catalyst Gold unique the way the 16 ingredients affect each other. CG is the first supplement where amino acids, vitamins, Chinese herbs, superfoods and superfruits are combined in one formula without toxic fillers and binders. Flax Seed Extract helps with digestion, L-Glutamine and Calcium Carbonate work to aid in curbing your sugar cravings. Eleuthero Root, Acai Berries, Biotin and Magnesium Citrate are responsible for fighting fatigue. Camu Camu, Turmeric, Astragalus, and Mangosteen are powerful in strengthening your immune system and reducing seasonal allergies. Dandelion Root, Selenium, and Magnesium Citrate helps you gently detox. Spirulina and Chlorella will make you ditch the synthetic multi-vitamins since it has all the nutrients and vitamins
your body needs. Biotin, Chlorella, and Grape Seed Extract will regenerate your hair, nails, and skin.

We are big advocates for holistic beauty as a lifestyle: how would you incorporate Catalyst Gold in a self-love, healthy daily regime?
I think incorporating holistic medicine, herbs and superfoods in your daily routine is a form of self-love. I usually suggest starting with 2 CG capsules in the morning and 2 with or after lunch with food and lots of water/liquids. If our customers don't notice any difference within a week, I recommend to go up to maximum 4 capsules twice a day. Our bodies are so different, there is no “one size fits all” dosage when it comes to holistic medicine.

What does self-care mean to you?
To me self-care means a healthy whole foods-based plant-based diet, a regular exercise routine and overall spiritual work/growth. Self care also means nourishing your body with massages, meditation, rest, always listening to it in an intuitive way. Slow down when your body needs rest and go for it when your body craves some action.

And now, talk us trough your daily self-care regimen. Skincare, body care, exercise… the lot.
Exercise is one of the most important part of my life and my daily routine. I train almost every day at Overthrow at my favorite boxing gym in NYC. My skincare regimen is pretty low maintenance these days; my favorite products currently are Agent Nateur Holi Water, 111 Skin Hyaluronic Acid, Dr Alkalitis Organic Ageless Facial Elixir. I love all the masks from Lehlani and Egyptian Magic is a must every day. Unfortunately, due to the World being “paused” right now, my make-up routine is pretty minimal these days, I usually just throw on a little blush, bronzer, eyeliner and clear lip gloss.

Three beauty products that you always have in your handbag?
Nars Orgasm, Glossier clear lip-gloss and a mini Egyptian Magic.

You’re in a gorgeous spa, what treatment do you ask for?
Acupuncture, full body massage, reflexology, LED bed and an Oxygen Facial.

Your favorite holistic destination?
I don't know if “holistic” is the correct word, but I love Miami and find the energy there extremely soothing. Miami has a booming wellness, fitness and spiritual scene right now. The weather is perfect and my favorite vegan restaurant Plant Miami is always a must when I'm visiting.

And what would you take with you on a desert island?
I-Phone, Egyptian Blackseed Oil, Catalyst Gold.

First thing in the morning?
Warm lemon water followed with a matcha latte with almond or oat milk. Gratitude list and meditation while I oil pull.

Last thing before bed?
Hot epsom salt bath and ginger or dandelion tea.

One dream you still have to accomplish?
I have a lot of dreams I'm trying to make reality; I feel like I'm always a work in progress... Eventually I would love to build a holistic wellness empire and help people on a larger scale to heal, live healthy and happy lives and feel better about themselves.

And last but not least, what is your favorite thing about being a woman?
I like the perfect balance of enhancing my feminine side in my personal life and my more masculine side in business.
I'm one of those women who can be extremely feminine, soft and nurturing and at the same time if the situation calls for it I'm notorious for being the toughest girl on the block.
