Wax from the candelilla plant (spurge family). It has good stability, good adhesion and makes the skin supple.
Sericin
Silk protein is made of finely milled silk threads of the silk moth caterpillar. The silk worm pupates in the larval stage and spins itself with a very long protein thread. The resulting cocoon is unwound and cleaned. This results in silk yarn, which can absorb moisture very well in its finest pulverised form. It nourishes the skin and smoothes it.

With increasing age, the hyaluronic acid content of the skin and the skin's ability to hold moisture is reduced. The more effective moisture-binding effect in comparison to other substances results from the fact that it emits its hydrate mantle only after several hours and acts in this manner over a long period of time.
