Stilblut's Musings: The Vegan & Cruelty Free Velvet Lipsticks
I like my lipsticks uncomplicated - there are enough things that make life very complicated, and lipstick shouldn’t be one of them.
My preferred technique? Quick and dirty.
I never use lip liner or primer and I want to be able to apply it without a huge mirror and cotton buds.
It doesn't have to be perfect.
The Clean Lipstick That Blew Me Away
So far, there haven't been many natural long lasting lip products that blew me away... till recently. The Lip Velvets by Clove + Hallow won me over from application number one.The lip products are PETA-certified cruelty-free, vegan and have a liquid-to-matte formula that dries down to a comfortable long-lasting finish.Thanks to to caring argan oil and coconut oil, shea butter and vitamin E, they feel really nice on the lips without drying them out.

Pictures can tell you more than a thousand words: three favourite Shades
And they did not only impress me: Every time I wore them in my stories on Instagram, the excitement for them was huge. Now that we are approaching the upcoming festive season, I'm going to show you three favorite shades. I think even if this year the celebrations will be smaller, with few people, it will be nice to get dressed up including pretty jewelry and a bold lipstick. And all the shades will work throughout the whole year.
Let’s start with one of the most beautiful red shades I have ever seen:
The Lip Velvet in Fiesta - a bright Red with a bit of Orange
And then...
Napa - a stunning bold Pink-Purple
Road Trip - a vibrant Pink
